Tour description

A great adventure for lovers of hiking, stunning mountains and vivid culture. For six days we will be walking part of the famous Annapurna Circuit in the most stunning massif of Himalayas, visiting authentic Tibetan villages and monasteries on the way, eventually reaching breathtaking Thorong La pass. We then descend to Pokhara on Phewa lake, known for its views and, finally, explore Kathmandu valley - grand ancient stupas, royal palaces and unique architecture.

This trip is dynamic, of above average difficulty. The main part is a 6 day 100 km trek at a high altitude of up to 5416 meters above sea level. We will be walking 12-20 km a day for 5-9 hours, depending on the height. Itinerary also includes several rides in comfortable buses for up to 8 hours with stops for food. We will also take one of two short dometic flights. During the trek we will be staying in simply gueshouses with basic facilities on the way. Other times - in hotels, most of them will have hot water and wi fi internet.

Price of the trip includes:

  • Domestic flight Jomsom-Pokhara (and Pokhara-Kathmandu, if we fly instead of taking a bus);
  • All transportation including buses, specially rented vehicles, and airport transfers;
  • Accommodation in double, triple or quadriple rooms of hotels with basic facilities or guesthouses;
  • Permit and TIMS card (Trackers’ Information Management System);
  • Professional guiding services.

To be paid separately:

  • Flight to Kathmandu and from Kathmandu back home;
  • Food ($5-6 per person per day);
  • Entrance tickets to palaces, temples and other places of interest (up to $40);
  • Medical insurance (Mandatory);
  • Visa to Nepal ($25).

Tour itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu, checking into a hotel near 6th century Boudhanath stupa, one of the largest in the world.

Day 2

We explore Boudhanath stupa, then visit Patan, Nepal’s ancient capital near Kathmandu. Another stop - Swayambhunath complex on the hill, one of Nepal’s most famous sites. We will also visit Nepal’s trademark Durbar square and Thamel tourist district.

Day 3

Bus trip to the famous Nepalese town of Pokhara (8 hours on the way, with stops for breakfast and lunch). Checking into a hotel in the center.
