Tour description

The most intense trip in China will take you to all sites that the country is known for during one week. The Great Wall, The Forbidden city, Shaolin monastery and the Terracotta army. We will watch kung fu show, walk the Death path on holy Huashan mountain, and follow in Dao hermits' footsteps 2100 meters above sea level.

This trip is of easy level. It includes one domestic flight, and rides in comfortable buses and trains for up to 8 hours. We will also spend approximately 5 hours walking up stairs to the top of Huashan mount 2100 meters above sea level. Accommodation will be provided in double/twin rooms of hotels and guesthouses, all will have hot water and wi fi internet.

Price of the trip includes:

  • One domestic flight X`ian - Beijing;
  • Accommodation in double\twin rooms of hotels and guesthouses during the entire trip;
  • All transportation during the trip, including buses, trains, boats and public transportation;
  • Professional guiding services.

To be paid separately:

  • Flight to Beijing and from Beijing back home;
  • Entrance tickets to places of interest, including museums, monasteries, ropeways and other ($250);
  • Food ($10-20 per person per day);
  • Visa to China (apx. $110);
  • Medical insurance (mandatory).

Tour itinerary

Day 1-2

Arrival in Beijing, checking into a hotel in one of the historic hutungs (districts) which preserved the spirit of old China. We will visit the biggest square in the world -Tiananmen, the Forbidden city, the Temple of Heaven and will travel to Badalin to explore the Great wall of China.

Day 3-4

We move to Luoyang (8 hours on the way), known for it`s 5000 years old history and for being the capital of 13 dynasties of Chinese rulers. Here we will visit the Longmen Caves and then move to the famous Shaolin monastery (1.5 hours on the way) where we will visit the Pagoda forest and enjoy kung fu show. In the evening we take a train to Huashan (1 hour) and check into a hotel.

Day 5

Mount Hua (Huashan) is considered one of the five holy mountains in China. The place of ancient holy men and hermits, it is now dotted with monasteries and temples. We will walk the path of Taoist pilgrims up the 2100 meters high mountain, explore the so-called path of death, and then descend using the cable car. The walk will take us approximately 5 hours.
