We will visit two ancient Buddhist countries, one of which - Bhutan, made happiness of its citizens a top government priority. We will start in Kathmandu valley by exploring remains of ancient kingdoms, Buddha’s birthplace and Chitwan national park. Then we move to mysterious Bhutan where we will visit three main towns - the ancient capital of Punakha, Paro valley and the modern capital of Thimphu. The highlight of the trip is a hike to Bhutan’s trademark cliffside monastery - Tiger’s nest.
